....in a hundred different ways every day. We kid ourselves that things are fine when they are clearly not. Sometimes, we kid ourselves to a constructive end, and sometimes the process is entirely counterproductive.
Still, though, we keep on doing it, the more so when we try to kid ourselves that we are not kidding ourselves!
