....as perfection - present company included! When we strive for perfection we make our lives difficult. We become unnecessarily anxious. We create a rod for our own back. You may well be keen to get something right. That's fine. But you may also very keen not to get it wrong. That is not necessarily so good. You would be impeding your own progress by setting a standard that it may prove impossible to live up to.
At such times, be a little more tolerant and forgiving of yourself and be similarly understanding with others.
