....to the end of the earth, but you can't escape your own shadow. If though, you face a strong source of light, you can fix it so that your shadow always falls behind you. That way you can be gloriously oblivious of your own dark side, whilst everyone else is all too keenly conscious of it.
It's far better to recognise the negative side of your personality, than to live in denial of its very existence. You have to own it before you can make amends for it.
