....this old Greek guy who went by the name of Heraclitus. He was born an aristocrat but lived as a hermit and believed that his wisdom stemmed from his loneliness. It seems that he was a critic of other philosophers, including Homer and Pythagoras, which may explain his isolation.
His wise observation, that change is the only constant, remains beyond question. Less so, his grasp of medicine. He died trying to cure an illness by covering himself in manure and lying out in the sun.
To know some things, is not to know all things. We should always remember that.
