If you look at a window pane....

....the glass will look pretty solid and secure.  But glass is a liquid, not a solid. Take a window pane that has been in position for a couple of hundred years and look at it closely. You will always find that it is thinner at the top than at the bottom. Presumably, if you take it out and turn it around, it will flow back the other way over the next few generations. That's not the only example of something that seems to be immovable but contains hidden fluidity.


There are often factors in our lives that we discover are changeable - in a matter of days, not centuries.



Being a person is a matter of birth. Being an adult is a matter of age.
But being a loving, caring friend is a matter of choice.
