None of us can argue that....

.....an academic education isn't  is all well and good - but until or unless you live and breathe the practice, all you will ever know is the theory. Theory is fickle. It sounds good, it seems to make sense, but you can never really be sure whether you have reached the right moment to apply it.

Yet some experiences don't seem to teach us anything.  Until we really know something deep down, we will just keep repeating the same old mistakes. When we learn something, we need to digest it properly to help things improve.

If you worry about yesterday's failures, then today's successes will be few.
