Some time back there was this....

.....man who went by the name of Reinhold Niebuhr.  A theologian, apparently.  He wrote what's come to be known as The Serenity Prayer - 'Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.'   It remains highly favoured, to this day, amongst many who seek wisdom and inner strength, regardless of their religion.

Feel free to make it your own personal, private, recitation today. If you say it with sincerity, you may find it actually works.

Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to
anything on which it is poured.   (Mark Twain)
