....there used to be this old saying - 'There is more than one way to skin a cat.' You don't hear that any more. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, have done their work well. I can't even tell you if it was ever true. I never had any desire to attempt to prove it - nor, I'm glad to say, do I know anyone who has tried.
Most things in life, though, can be done in more than one way. Keep that in mind as you consider your options. There is an alternative way to proceed, if the most obvious route isn't working.
