....to join me in growing old disgracefully. Remain rebellious, reckless, free-spirited and fun-loving. But - and there's always a 'but' isn't there - learn from the past. Don't keep on making the same mistakes - make new ones instead! Modify your behaviour in accordance with experience. Then, as you grow old, you will also grow wise. Once you are truly wise, you will see that it is much more enjoyable to be old than it is to be young.
The road to happiness usually involves breaking a habit or three. Hard though it may be, it may well prove a small price to pay for what could be a lot of freedom.
People are very open-minded about new things - as long as they're exactly like the old ones.
