...as a conflict that cannot be resolved. It is, though, much easier to attain peace if both parties earnestly desire it. Some people feel that to give way in a tense situation is to show weakness. (As an aside, I now live in a place where politeness is also considered a weakness. Go figure!!) Getting back to my main point - to give way to a base emotion can hardly be considered a strength.
